Policies and Procedures

New Policy

Parents/Guardians we have a few changes we are putting in place to protect instructional time for your children and other students.
  1. Students will not be allowed to use the office phone to call home for things they forgot at home.
  2. Students will not be called out of class to pick up items that parents drop off.
  3. Students MUST come to school knowing how they are getting home that day. We are no longer giving messages to students about riding the bus or going into car line.
  4. The dismissal process begins at 2:40; therefore, students will not be allowed to check out at that time or later.

Science Fees

Each grade level teacher collects science fees at the beginning of the school year to take care of costs for various science experiment supplies such as, play-doh, cups, foil, etc.  These materials allow for students to truly enjoy the investigative process of science.  If your family is having a financial hardship that affects your child's science fees being paid, please contact the school at 532-2597.

Test Folder Information

Detailed grade reports are going home every other Wednesday! Please ask your child for it this evening. If your child has a grade of an "X," this simply means that your child needs to make up that assignment. Once the work/test is made up, the teacher will update the grade. If your child hasn't made up the work/test at the end of the nine weeks, the "X" averages as an "F." Please call Mrs. Landry or Ms. Muhammad if you have any questions.
