National Principals Month: Michelle “Shelley” Chiasson

To celebrate National Principals Month, we’re sharing some fun facts about our amazing school administrators. Today you’ll learn more about Mrs. Shelley Chiasson, principal of Lockport Middle School.

Here’s the inside scoop on Mrs. Chiasson:

🏴‍☠️ She’s been a principal for two months.
🏴‍☠️ She says the most rewarding part of being a principal is watching teachers and students grow to their full potential.
🏴‍☠️ Her favorite subject in school was math because it helped her develop problem-solving skills that have been beneficial in other areas of her life and career.
🏴‍☠️ Her favorite school lunch is potato and sausage stew.
🏴‍☠️ A vacation to Hawaii is on her bucket list.
🏴‍☠️ In her free time, she likes to have family over to enjoy boiled crabs and crawfish.
🏴‍☠️ Fun Fact: She wishes she knew how to play guitar.
